The Return
From the ruins, the altar rises first — then the walls
Be strong, all you people of the land, and work; for I am with you.
Chaggai 2:4
Koresh opens the gates. Ezra carries the Torah back; Nechemyah rebuilds the walls with a sword on his hip. Chaggai and Zekaryahu rouse the worn-out remnant to lift the second Beit HaMikdash. The road home is long, but the Father walks it with them. Four hundred years of silence will follow — and then a voice in the wilderness.
Adonai, give me the courage of the returning remnant — to rebuild what feels lost, brick by brick, with You beside me.
