The Kingdom
A shepherd becomes king — and the throne is promised forever
Your house and your kingdom will be made sure forever before you.
Shmuel Bet 7:16
David — a shepherd from Beit-Lechem — is anointed king. He builds a city, conquers his enemies, sings Tehillim that the world will pray for three thousand years. But the deepest promise is hidden in 2 Shmuel 7: an heir whose throne will never end. The Son of David is on His way.
Son of David, reign over me today as You reign in heaven. I bow before Your throne that has no end.
