Sinai
The mountain trembles — Elohim speaks, and a people is set apart
You shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a kodesh nation.
Shemot 19:6
Fifty days after Pesach, the mountain shakes with the voice of Elohim. The Torah is given — not to enslave, but to set apart. A people who were slaves are now priests. The first Shavuot was the giving of the Word in stone; the second, centuries later, would be the giving of the Ruach in fire.
Father, write Your Torah on my heart as You once wrote it on stone. Make me one of Your priests today.
